MICHI stands for Medical Doctors Inter -Community Health Initiative. The Organization was founded in 2009,with the first corporate Headquarters in Jos, Nigeria. It is a Health Development Community focused Non Governmental Otganization, serving African communities in the area of Health Promotion and health Systems Strengthening especially in underserved regions. The organization has spread its offices across Nigeria and a few African countries to ensure effective service delivery through partnerships with local community organizations and Public Health facilities in regions where we serve.

PREVIOUS AND ONGOING WORK
MICHI Africa has collaborated with other Non Profit organizations since inception to deliver Free services in Area of Malaria Prevention Treatment and Advocacy. We have also partnered with International Organizations like Vitamin Angels, USA 🇺🇸 as a major field partner in its Micronutrients Distribution in African communities during which over 234,000 beneficiaries comprising of women and under-five children were reached annually from 2016 to 2020
The organization has leveraged on the annual Micronutrients Grant of Vitamin A , Albendazole and Pre/ Post Natal Multivitamins to establish Support Centers at over 60 public health facilities Nigeria , Ethiopia and the Republic of Cameroon

we have also Partnered with Private Organizations to set- up adequate Water ,Sanitation, and Hygiene systems ( WASH ) at the Correctional Facility in Bauchi state, Nigeria 🇳🇬. MICHI Africa Partnership cuts across various levels to ensure effective and efficient service delivery in regions were we serve
We have Been collaborating with Doctors from various State Medical Associations to organize annual free Medical Programs during our Health Week , yearly since incorporation. The organization has also been on various radio programs, promoting health and organizing health education programs
